Disneyland Melaka is expected to open by 2027 – First in ASEAN
Many news sites have confirmed that the “most wonderful place on Earth” has decided to open its first ASEAN in 2027. The related stakeholders are looking to build Disneyland on 80.9 hectares of land, possibly in the Jasin district, and expecting to consume about RM2 billion of the budget as well.
Whilst Paris also has a Disneyland outside of the US, other Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong, and Japan have their own Disneylands and DisneySea too. The most exhilarating country to visit would be Japan. Here are the size comparisons below:

State Tourism, Heritage and Culture Exco Datuk Muhammad Jailani said that “Disneyland is in planning, we are planning the possibility of it being in the Jasin district, God willing, we cannot know the exact location, the area is around 150 to 200 acres (60.7 to 80.9 hectares)…… Not only Disneyland but there is also a proposed development of 22 kilometers of the ‘Maglev’ system to connect Melaka tourism hotspots with an investment value of 200 million dollars equivalent to RM900 million, in total this project could reach up to RM2 billion,”

On the side note, The Melaka government seems to be planning for the “Maglev” system which involves electromagnet trains as transportation to boost the Melaka tourism’s hotspots. The stakeholders are looking at an estimate of $200 million (approx RM900 million).
